do girls give guys promise rings? my b/f gave me one a couple of months ago. do girls get them for guys??? im so confused.... some say yes some say no.... HELP!!!

Things are different now from when I was young. I would say yes it would be okay to give your b/f a promise ring if you want to.
Dont worry so much what other people may think or say. Being young, only lasts a short period. Enjoy your relationship with your b/f, and give him a ring if ya want. Let me know what you decide.

You can if you want girls do do it.
But it's generally not called a promise ring--
It's called a "I'll trust you with my soul until the day you leave me at the alter" ring
Ok maybe not EXACTLY that, lol
No, seriously, you can and you SHOULD, it shows that you'r deicated to the relationship and serious about the guy. Plus, inadvertantly, it kinda means you're agreeing to "The Terms of Service" of the promise ring he gave you.

I haven't heard of 'promise rings' before.

yes it's both ways. he doesn't have to necessarily put it on his wedding finger cuz' then it'll make it look like he's married.
