As with anything excess is the problem, not the product. The general philosophy of all things in moderation has worked well for me, and I would recommend that to anyone. Cola if used in excess can cause the stomach lining to deteriorate due to the over production of acids. Not to mention the constant infusion of sugars, chemicals and caffeine can throw off the balance of electrolytes and create other more serious problems.

It's NOT the carbonation ... this is a myth. Look it up. Carbonation as in Seltzer Water is no more harmful than plain old water.

It is the sugar and/or the chemicals that make cola so bad for you.

It's very acidic, and is used for cleaning motor parts. It's very harmful to our stomachs. Why do we continue to drink it? We are bombarded by advertisements showing us how wonderful our lives would be if we drank it and we fall for it every time. We are morons.
