Can you help me with NANCY DREW - DANGER IN DECEPTION ISLAND ?

I got the 4 messages in the bottles...
I figured it out... I went to the island .....
I opened the box.....
I found 3 things inside .....
I can't take the 2 page letter with me !!!!??

What should I do with them ?
And can you explain what Hilda means by all that... Please
