To become a Youth mentor you will need to get experience and training.
For experience start looking at your local Voluntary organisation, Princes trusts and local community groups.
From there you can then do education at your local community centre or college. See your local careers office for help.
Once you have 6 months experience and are currently/completed education it should be easier for you to got paid employment. Try looking on he jobcentreplus website.

You are a mentor everyday, you just don't know it. To be be an influence in a child's life, I would try volunteering for a Boy's Club, YMCA or a school.

Why initiate yet another church except its an lower than more suitable area? 3. do you know that pastors are meant to be adult men Olivia? You could try going to your local aurthorities and find out what volunteer work is avialable in your area. If you live in the uk try going to your local area website.
