why don't people like homosexual people?

I have a gurl that doesn't like gay people, What can i do for her to like them?

People dislike not only the homosexuals, but also their lifestyles. People have visions of two guys having anal sex in a bed or in a park, and it turns their stomach. They are offended by that stuff. People believe that the only thing positive about many homosexuals is their HIV status. The taxpayers end up taking it in the shorts, by paying for their care and feeding when they get full blown aids. As a result, they do not like homosexuals.

Others dislike them because it goes against the teachings of the Christian religion.

I had a friend who had the same problem, the cause is normally fear of the unknown and as they aren't the so called 'normal' person people get scares, but when he came to live with us he had to put up with our gay friend, who got a crush on him, and by the time her moved out his oppinion had changed and now isn't so much of a homophobe.
The best way is normally to find out why she doesn't like them and see if you can find away for her to put up with them at least, or make her see they are no different.

Oh but they do, matter of fact most gays I know are the nicest people I know. Few don't, and that's OK too, after all, this still is a free country and we all have the right to free association without plenty of prosecution.

She's just ignorant and doesn't kwow. Not knowing about something makes a lot of people nervous, just cause they simply DON'T KNOW. Maybe take her to meet some of your homosexual friends and this will break the ice to her becoming more open minded about them. I love everyone, only God can judge me....I don't feel it's my place to judge anyone based on their sexual preference.

Personally, I do not hate homosexuals, I hate thier behavior. I know that really, they are all seeking something and had bad childhoods and this is why they are so.
Being homosexual is an abomination to God, also. I wouldnt want to get on His bad side.

Tell her not to be so shallow.They are people just like us they will not hurt her. She will actually find out they are very fun to be around. I am straight and one of my best friends for over 10 years is a lesbian. She is very down to earth and makes a great shopping buddy for me. I hope everything works out for you and her.

u can't do anything, some people are just scared of things they don't understand and others were raised to be against it. i think yr a good friend for trying but i'm afraid u will probably never get her to change her mind

people are closed minded because they are ignorant...they were either raised that way and brainwashed to believe it or just go along with someone elses beliefs..my sister is a lesbian and it is hard to deal with...but i love her ..she is the same person she has always been..it matters not to me how she gets her sexual gratification...tell her that gay people have feelings..they love, laugh, hurt, cry...feel jsut like the rest of us......they are people too...

You can't make anybody like anybody .People who don't like people because of who they sleep with are ignorant. I still haven't figured out because of someone's sexual preference people don't like them or they literally hate them. What is wrong with 2 people being happy. Let people be . You live your life let others live theirs. You can't change her mind if she is that ignorant

well i dont have a problem with gay people and any one who does is inseecure with themselves and i think that they think they might be gay.
