Nice bonelss fillet of white fish - any sort - simply add slices of lemon, herbs if desired, salt & pepper to taste and a few knobs of butter. To complement you can surround the fish with veggies - whatever you want, wrap in tinfoil and put in the oven. Unwrap & enjoy!

Roasted Beet Salad with Blue Cheese Recipe

Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 20 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

For the salad:
3 medium yellow beets (about 1 pound), stems trimmed off
3 medium red beets (about 1 pound), stems trimmed off
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 cups baby leaf spinach
1/4 pound whole piece blue cheese (frozen)
Toasted almonds
For the dressing:
3 cups tangerine juice, or orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Pinch salt and pepper
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the beets in a baking pan, drizzle with the oil, and season with salt. Cover with foil. Bake for about 1 hour, or until tender when pierced with a knife.

While the beets are roasting, make the dressing:

In a 1-quart non-reactive saucepan, over medium-high heat, reduce the tangerine juice to about 3/4 cup. Add the lemon juice. Remove from the heat and strain with a fine sieve.
Return to the saucepan; add lemon juice, salt and pepper. Over medium heat, reduce until the mixture bubbles and has a syrup-like consistency. You should have about 1/4 cup. Remove from the heat and strain again. Let cool to room temperature. Add the olive oil. Set aside. (Can be stored in refrigerator for up to 1 1/2 weeks.)

When cool enough to handle, peel the beets, and thinly slice them into rounds. Arrange on a serving platter and drizzle with the dressing. In a large bowl, toss the spinach with the remaining dressing and place spinach on top of beets in the center of the platter.

Remove the wedge of blue cheese from the freezer. Using a microplane grater, grate the desired amount over the salad. Garnish with toasted almonds.

Ingrediants:
One none-pregnant woman of child bearing age.
One man - preferably extra fertile.
One bed.
One album of ambient music.
One pregnancy test.
One condom.
One bin.

Steps:
1) Place the condom in the bin and remove to side of room. You won't be needing that.
2) Play ambient music.
3) Remove clothes from man and woman.
4) Sexually arouse them both (if they aren't already from the nakedness and the music).
5) Insert man's penis into woman's vagina. Thrust and repeat until ejaculation.
6) Remove penis. Discard man.
7) Put woman into bed. Leave overnight.
8) Administer pregnancy test. Will turn blue if successful. If not, repeat steps 1-7 later than evening.

And there you should have one pregnant woman.

Onion, garlic and mushrooms have never played a part in my sex life...

I agree with evo. Fish is the way to go. Pregnancy eats up the iron and leaves mama tired. Fish is an excellent source of iron and is a light dish that won't upset her tummy. I have a fabulous recipe for broiled talapia. It can be found here:

Should have eaten her in the first place, you wouldn't be cooking for her cravings now.

Anyway, that's a hard one, Some pregnant women can't stand certain foods like fish or beef for example. Certain smells can turn their stomach. The best thing to do is to ask her what she is craving and enter that in the search engine and find a recipe then. Her cravings will change with her moods (frequently).

Why don't you try to just keep anything you make simple. So take one or two main flavours and work with those. Dont overdo it on the herbs, flavours, sauces or creams.

Try healthy alternative like fresh salads or simple wraps. Grill the meat and dont deep fry everything! :-) hope it helps
