My neighbor has weird sounds coming from his basement window? Sounds like chickens.....and late at night people come in and I hear cheering.......What could this be as if I don't know? And what should I do?

Well there are people that have rooster fights. If this is the case and from what you describe you could do one of two things. Contact the police dept. or contact your local ASPCA or Humane Society. It is illegal to allow "pets" to engage in fights of this kind. Your neighbor could end up with some serious time behind bars and/or a large fine.

Definatly call the police, and ASPCA to come over. Sounds like a Co ck fight. But do it on a night when all the cars are over, that way they get busted in the act and the evidence is very clear. Otherwise their might not be enough evidence to bust them.

Looks like you've got illegal c.ock fighting going on. It is ILLEGAL and INHUMANE. Report this activity to the local animal control authorities and the police.
Chickens may not be the brightest of animals, but no animal deserves to suffer just for some sicko human's amusement.

Sound's like rooster fighting to me, a vile, evil, inhumane so called sport, indulged in by stupid, vile , evil people. Call the police and the local humane society today. No living thing should suffer like that.

lmao if i were you id come over the middle of it and bring a six pack beer with you.
i cant imagine what it could be..making the chickens fight? people do that with bulls, i dont know if they can with chickens. if you see any weird stuff going on in there, go with it b/c they might be a litlte crazy and try to kill you so you wont tell anyone.

This is one of those "no duhs" kiddo. I agree with all the answers you've gotten BUT have to ask what state you live in. Can you believe this awful sport is legal in 2 states. La & NM. I would turn them in no matter where you live. Cruelty should be punished.

call the police... just say you heard screaming and there's a stench coming from the basement of that house.
if there's c.o.c.k fighting going on that's illegal, can't be done in neighborhoods, it's a health violation and well.. it's illegal.

Call your local animal control, ASPCA and the police-use the non-emergency line or if you know it's happening at that moment, then call 911 and catch those who are participating in the fighting as well.
