Because the cheating, alcohol swilling, lying, bragging, swaggering butthead in the wife-beater shirt exhibits that he will show her an exciting time. She doesn't see past all the BS to what's really there until later. When she sees the nice guy, she sees a boring night out, nothing to look forward to, ho hum. So she gets just what she's looking for, excitement, with other things she wasn't such as a clenched fist, cussing, and a gun in most cases.

Are you a complete idiot or just partial idiot? I've only been cheated on once that I know of, and from that experience, I know that I would never tolerate that again. The guy I'm with is more than a healthy nice guy - he's an amazing guy. So you need to step back and re-think your point of view before you go around making assumptions about women, you OBVIOUSLY don't understand us.

Because it rarely starts out like that. They are looking for someone strong . that can protect them. Their personalties usually stand out in a crowd .. and women tend to like a confident guy. However, once the guy has you .. then it becomes a thing of "you're mine now .. I own you " .. kind of attitude. So the guy that you once thought was going to protect you from the other bad guys .. is now the bad guy himself. Many women chose this kind of guy because their fathers were like this in their family system and they are used to it. Even though it is a horrible way to treat someone.. when you grow up a certain way, you begin to feel comfortable with it , because it is the only thing you know. These kind of ladies see a "healthy nice guy" , as weak... and they do not feel secure with them. They never learned what real strength is about. It's sad, but it happens a lot in our society. Gawd - I don't know, but I watched Dr. Phil once in a while - and I can't believe what some women will do. But sometimes the bad, cheating guy doesn't show up until after the marriage - and then the woman is too frightened or insecure or whatever to leave.

Oooh! You've obviously been hurt. No woman wants 'to be slapped around' - but both men and women have a tendency to go for bad boys or bitches who treat them badly. People who are 'nice' sometimes come accross as too needy, they are always available and that can make your other half lose respect for you. Next time you meet a woman you like, treat her well but don't overwhelm her. Hopes this helps.

Women have to get the want for a "bad boy" out of their systems... For some it just takes longer... :)
It also seems that some women think they don't deserve a good guy...
I've been there, done that, and now I am waiting for the good guy to show up and sweep me off my feet... the only problem is, it seems like the bad boys are everywhere, and the good ones are with someone already? ;) Im not worried though, whoever he is, he'll be worth it...

Its not human nature to want to get slap around but it is human nature for women to like dominance. We dont want a man we can push around. Its weird but sometimes you can get used to getting treated badly. It starts off very subtle. he might first just act jealous and overprotective so it seems like he cares then he will gradually just start showing his true colors and at that point you might be in too deep. you might really be in love or living together or kids. It can be many reasons why a women would be with someone who treats her bably, its a pychological thing. it could be childhood not wanting to leave because of children or thinkig he will change or even him threatening her financially or even her life.

Its the same as guys treating their partners who're bitches better and dote on them more, than those who care and love and show all the attention in the world. In 2 words - The Chase. Its animal instincts to always choose the one who is self-confident and knows handle things independantly. And the fact of 'discovering' this 'cool cat' actually loving or giving them attention (note: not in a obvious way,more like subtle), makes them feel good about themselves. there is overstimulation by a person who gives them constant attention, and pretty soon, like all of your other physical senses, will become numb and adjusted. Hope this helped to understand the psyche of the crooked human mind.

I was married to a bad boy...but it never lasted...because I finally started loving Myself...Women sometimes just like whatever attention they can get...I prefer the positive kind Myself...the good guys!
