The thread count is higher... meaning that there is a great count of thread per square inch. This makes for a smoother, less scratchy feeling fabric. Once you sleep on a set of sheets with a higher thread count you will be hooked!

It is softer and finer than the stuff in the US. Plus, imported stuff always seems better.
