Take the movie the PATH to 911 - it portrays the former and current administrations as both mishandling crucial situations and information BUT you only hear whining and complaining from the democratic side!! Why is that? Are Conservatives just more self confident than liberals? Is it because dems lack to moral fortitude and don't know what is right and wrong?

Or is it because the movie closely (NOW PAY ATTENTION DEMS), closely not accurately, portrays the insuffient understanding and lack of desire for the Clinton administration's to deal with terrorists and their atacks?

Dizz - yes conservatives complained about Moore's lie filled movie BUT they didn't try censor it or change scenes like the dems are doing! I am just asking why?

Because Clinton will never stop spinning. He has lived his entire political career obsessing about approval ratings. He does and says everything to be measured through the prism of public opinion. That's why during his administration, his cabinet and advisers spent more time on the talking head shows than they did in their offices or making any kind of policy decisions. They were out trying to get ahead of public opinion, trying to justify and explain and confuse people about their lack of an agenda. They tried to take credit for anything good that happened, tried to push away blame for anything bad and basically spent all of their time blowing hot air around TV network studios. They attempted to reassure the public that all was well, they were the good guys and that they were handling things.

Fighting terrorism was too complicated, dirty and nasty, and required guts, and fortitude, and persistence, and might upset some of their core constituency (listen to them howling now...) - and so it was easier to turn their backs on the gathering storm of Islamofascism and do nothing - just put in their 8 years and get off to the book writing - to try to get ahead of the historians who would eventually judge them for their conduct, or lack thereof...

If you notice, when Conservatives make mistakes, and we do make our share, we apologize and try to recitify. A liberal cannot admit to any shortcomings - none - they have this sense of denial that they are perfect, and any confession of error or misdeed is completely not part of their make-up. When was the last time a liberal apologized for anything? I rest my case.

nicely, everybody is human beings and as you communicate about that no longer all Republicans are like this. i'd project to assert that sure, some are, and certain some Democrats are to boot. i have considered Republicans that are so a techniques properly that it scares me to lack of existence, some quite do have blinders on. i have also considered some Democrats that are so a techniques left that it scares me too although. i'm no longer a Republican or a Democrat, yet have voted for both depending upon which i believe is the further appropriate human being for the job. Now, putting forward that, i'm also from Texas yet when I say that to some Democrats they immediately assume i'm a Republican and commence telling me what i imagine and how stupid i'm for assisting Bush. Huh? i imagine everybody is human beings, i don't think of you could or ought to pin labels or generalizations on someone depending upon what you've faith. Lol, that's lengthy winded and likely would not answer your question yet i'm hoping you spot what i'm putting forward.

Censorship should be frowned upon by everyone. Personally, I don't watch TV movies as I'm obviously a computer addict, but I think they should be able to air it. It's not different in timing than Farenheit 911. CBS did cancel the Reagan movie, but it was shown on Showtime. Thank God for the cajones of cable.

It is probably the directors vision in the movie. There are games on both sides of the political parties and both are cocky. They are politicians... meaning they are going to use anyway possible to get their point across and make the other side look like complete incompetant fools. I would say they are all arrogant because power generally... eventually... makes you a bit on the big headed side. I would look at that movie and say , "hmmm the demo side of things..." find something less liberal if you need to. But everyones veiw is getting out there.... watch it and form your opinions....

Don't you know everyone is entitled to their opinions and you dont have to agree with them or understand them? Likewise it's not a very smart ideal to place ALL liberals in the same group cause im sure not all of them was winning about the movie you used in your example. I'm neither liberal or democratic but I will ask you this: Are you as a person too self centered to think that others have to agree with you that they should see things your way and not their own?

The path to 911 is not accurate and should not be shown as a documentary. When truth is twisted to make someone look worse, it is irresponsible. I happen to be a Conservative Republican and I think Bush is the worse president we ever had and that's saying something after the last scum bag Clinton.

Moral fortitude.

What a fool you make of yourself.

I hear so much whining from the Republican side if memory serves me correctly. You asked a question whining about that peice of propaganda yesterday.

Really man, your resverse psychology is getting old.
Just like being a conformist slave to the party of Karl Rove.

Have you seen the movie? How do you know what it portrays?

From what I have read, the criticism is that it unfactually inflates the Clinton Administration's faults while downplaying the Bush Administration's faults. Sounds like a slanted piece of propaganda to me.

I personally don't give a rip if they air it. I just feel sorry for the stupid people who actually believe it (IF it is unfactual, as reported).

The sad thing is, we can no longer trust our own news media to give us a balanced, factual view of today's important issues.

Back this train up. Relax, Democrats and Republicans are equal to blame. Republicans used the Clinton scandal to get into office, and Democrats will use the current Iraq situation to get into office. Both sides are corrupt, both sides use what they can to get power. Neither are great.

Oh and Republicans didn't "whine and complain" about Fahrenheit 911?

Not to mention the self-centered assumption you start with. I'll take a wild guess and say that liberals are more likely to have volunteered at a local food pantry or a homeless shelter than conservatives...

BTW, have you seen the movie?
