Ooo answers flooding in thanks.. let me set the scene. I travelled the world for a few years, she has just got back from working oversea's for 6 months, living together, well loved up. Am I over setting the scene? I mean she has no idea still of all this other than the trip itself. Ring is in my pocket right now, just nervous thats all. You lot want to come to the reception? :-)

That sounds wonderful. Your obviously someone very much in love with her and very considerate to think of such a nice romantic setting for the occasion, she'll certainly appreciate that and of course she knows just what a wonderful person you are already, and of course if she's as much in love with you... she's bound to say yes!
Good luck

If you know her well you will know what she would say. I got engaged last month and it was fantastic. But we have to wait a while b4 we get married. its all about the future and what it looks like with another person, its scary if you dont know the person well enough or if you have doubts its a big descision, but if you are best friends like we are its natural to assume that theres no turning back and no hesitation. may love be stronger than any tribulation you ever find in your way!!!!

DO NOT ask her when your on a high in your relationship, she would obviously say yes, but what you need to know is if she will commit when you are ill/skint/drunk or homeless. Then SHE will have to think abit more of what SHE wants, a good holiday or a husband?

If you do, make sure it means something to her.
If she likes gardens, flowers, trees.....go to the botanical gardens or Central Park. If she likes theatre, try to get tickets to a play she would like. (and there are plays other than on Broadway).
Make it romantic. Stars and twinkling lights or sunshine and butterflies. It all depends on what she likes.
Good Luck.

well it sounds like you really love her if you did all this for her. If you've been together less than a year though you might want to wait a little longer if not it's a go. Good luck to you two :)
