There. A shadow to the left. Someone's coming in the room. It's a woman. The air currents eddy invisibly around her movements and by instinct I fly away from her. I see a desk and alight on it's dark, polished surface.
In an instant, too late to react, I sense a shadow and movement behind and above me.
SMACK - the garish orange plastic mesh of a flyswatter. Darkness.

A flash of black and white in the form of a matrix (shaped like their eyes) - that is how flys see.
