My question is: Whith the mainstream media being so useless, how can I find out (on a day to day basis) what is really going on? PLEASE post opinions and especially links in english to good unbiased news sources. "Now that my eyes are opened, I feel blind"

I've also heard that truthout.org is a reliable source.

For unbiased daily news, I listen to public radio. "Morning Edition" in the morning, "All Things Considered" in the evening. They also air BBC news twice daily. Check local listings.

I strongly suggest that you listen to talk radio - Michael Savage is great, and there are a lot of other sensible, truthful people. You might want to check out worldnewsdaily.net.

Get your information from news sources outside of the US. Use the Internet. I do.

And the government killed John Lennon, right. Of course media is corrupt. Welcome to the all-mighty dollar, and the FCC. We all just have to take the news as it comes, and be intelligent enough not to treat all of it as fact. The ONLY way to see the the truth, is to be there yourself. But that will be your' truth, no one elses'.
