3 days is great. You should not buy a pack because you've only got a few more days to go to before you achieve your goal.
Don't give up, you're almost there.

Wow! I know how hard it is. After a few weeks of no smoking, your body will have gone through the withdrawals of nicotine and you won't be so desperate. Try chewing gum, or ice chips and try keeping yourself busy. Things that occupy mind and hands. Take up walking too. After a body does some kind of exercise, it usually doesn't have an urge for smoking. The chemical releases of endorphines makes you feel better. Honestly it does. Plus you'll get in shape too. Good luck.

The worst is over. Try drinking lots of water, that helped me. If the craving gets too bad use nicotine gum or lozenges to get over the worst. I have a friend who stopped smoking a year ago. She carries a pack of cigarettes with her in the car. When she really wants to smoke , she looks at them and says: I choose not to smoke!

Don't do it! Money will be in your pocket; you need a mentor; stink; cancer; garbage in cigarettes; just found out that the tobacco companies have upped the nicotine in cigarettes so a person stays addicted; your overall health; low cost health insurance due to nonsmoking; low cost life insurance due to nonsmoking; more approachable; you are learning coping strategies to use in other circumstances, by giving in you loose the fight; I am a nonsmoker and I enjoy it! say it a million times. We just had a house catch on fire in our neighborhood and it was a smoker but the cause cant be determined; the owner had no insurance. Who do you think is going to be held accountable? Insurance or no insurance, the criminal investigation is separate from the insurance investigation.

hey buddy congrates..i stopped 23 days back..iam feeling better. PLease buy some nicotine chewing gums for emergency. if you really feel tempted chew one or a half. but try to avoid being with friends who smoke atlest for a month..if ur friends are smoking, more away till they finish. Its the habit u need to change and to change a habit u need to develop another similar habit. if you are into chewing gums, that really helps..i pop in a chewing gum everytime i feel the urge. Now i stopped even the nicotine one

The best alternative is sex....evertime you think about having a smoke have sex instead...its healthier and much more fun.
Get the Kama Sutra and see how many positions you can get through in a week of cravings...try to beat that number the next week...and so on and so on.
