Key west is fun for a little while. The beaches there are very poor though, ugly I mean. Orlando is probably the best place because of things to do. You could visit Disney and Universal. The water is too cold during the winter to jump in the water so if you want to come to florida, go somewhere like Orlando and go to disney. If you do go to disney, buy the park hopper, it lets you go to all the parks, it's really worth it.

RE:
Where is the warmest place in Florida at Christmas?
My husband past away in April and my kids and I do not want to be home without for Christmas so I have decided to take them on a trip and we want to know where the warmest place in Florida is at that time where we can still play in the ocean.

= Florida There are many places in Florida you may want to take your Christmas vacation to, but Orlando is the destination that stands out most. There are so many things to do in Orland like Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. Orlando also features several attractions such as Ripley's Believe it or not, WonderWorks and Kennedy Space Center. Orlando also features great restaurants, the premier ones being Emeril's and the Hard Rock Cafe. Going to Orlando is convenient because if you are a beach lover, you can truck on over to Cocoa Beach, which is about a 60 minute drive, depending on how fast you drive. Cocoa Beach is also known for it's great block parties and surfer waves.

It's still going to be a little cold to play in he ocean at Christams but Miami or Key West are your best best for major cities or touristy areas but a lot of it depnds on timing. You'll get days in the 50's and days in the almost 80's.. The average low is about 60 and the average High about 78 on land in Miami. Water will be about 70. Key West averages about the same but has higher lows at night in the upper 60's. Tampa, where I live is 55-71 in December on average and water temp about 65 which is too cold for me to swim but you might be fine with it.

Key West! Not only is it the warmest place, it's the BEST place... the only frost-free city in the U.S. (except Hawaii)

Key West by far. By comparison, Miami seems cold in the winter. Former university of Miami quarterback George Mira (who was from Key West) used to ***** about the winters in Miami.
It has NEVER been below 40 degrees F in Miami.
