Never saw the movie, so I'm guessing they probably used modern day bullets with bullet shells, etc. in whch case its probably an anachronism or something. Otherwise they'probably do like they did in the past to make bullets, melt lead or other low temperature melting metal and pour in casts, etc.

The old fashioned way, they made musket balls (I suppose). It is easy to melt led in a camp fire and to pour it into a mold.
Or they found some boxes of bullets in an old arms wharehouse.
Or maybe it is just a movie, and writers didn't think of that.

Melt lead into a mold.
If you mean ammunition: All you need is a bullet making press, empty shells, bullets, and gun powder. They could have been left over from the war.

They didn't make them, they were left over from the stock piles of the Military Industrial Complex, or they got them from the Carlyle Group- who found out how to stash WMD from Saddams, Court Testimony.
