I saw some episodes of this series from the beginning but seems like after 4 or 5 it stopped airing, any one knows what happened?

It aired on the FOX Network from September 28, 2001 through November 2, 2001, and was cancelled due to bad ratings.
The airdates were as follows:
Episode 1: September 28
Episode 2: October 5
Episode 3: October 26
Episode 4: November 2
