There are a lot of nations fighting in Afghanistan. Anyone who watches the news would know that. We Americans are not as oblivious as you think we are.

It's a NATO operation. So all members of NATO are contributing. The members signed a pact that if one of the member nations was attacked all would respond-guess who was attacked.

Yeah. Afghanistan is a NATO operation. Germany, Italy, Turkey and many others are there too.
