Communication is the key. Have you lost touch with each other? What were the common bonds that brought you together? Do you try to keep the relationshio special or have you fallen into a "holding pattern"? Talk to your significant other. A relationship is like a plant, it needs to be fed and nurtured in order to grow. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

I had a situation similar to yours with My ex-girlfriend. Usually if you are willing to try to save your relationship you would have to try to bring them back with spending more time together..talking about things that you used to talk about or know that they like to talk about. Continue to tell them that they are special in your life, and tell them how meaningful they are to you. IF..and only IF they start acting VERY strange (which is what happened with My ex), then you need to sit down, face them so that they are looking at you and ask them clearly.."What is going on? Is there something I should know that is giving you a reason to act strange towards Me?" Explain to them that you have seen a drop of interest, lack of love or even boredom if any..and that you are very concerned about all this. That will open a door of communication that they will be able to grasp. Be gentle and try to keep your temper at check..(believe Me I had to do that and THEN some), but sooner or later they will have to say something. If they can't but feel there is something wrong with them, a counselor will need to be in check. Other than that My friend...the relationship will be over and there will be nothing you will be able to do about it. This is when you will realize that it is time to move on.
