Im going to Mumbai in 10 days time for a long time, looking for ladies/girls to share hotel/boarding costs. Im still looking for reasonable accomodation in Mumbai. Locals also welcome.

First Look for place which is near your workplace cos travelling in Mumbai can be cumbersome for a new person.
In mumbai u can find lot of hotels and Paying guest accomodation. May be u can rent a well furnished flat through some real estate agent. You might not find accomodation in the hostels as they r normally full. Be carfull of the touts in Mumbai.They might misguide u in hotel accomodation.
All the best. If I had been in ur place I would have opted for a furnished flat.
