George Bush will have a place among the great presidents. Many people disliked Regan but he is revered now. Pacifists and Libs don't like anyone who kicks azz.

(1) This is not true.
(2) On Rumsfeld's watch the US Army has been stretched to the breaking point on two fronts, both of them under-supplied with little long-range planning. Gonzalez re-defined "torture" specifically to allow the US to torture prisoners--some of whom are definitely innocent--while arguing before the Supreme Court that the president doesn't have to obey the law. The SOI promotes "voluntary compliance" of environmental law, meaning simply those laws will not be enforced. This White House went from a balanced budget to the biggest deficits in our history. The list goes on.
(3) George W. Bush has close ties to convicted felons and personally ordered the deaths of more Americans as Governor of Texas than every other Governor combined. For someone with a "clean lifestyle" he seems pretty drenched in crime and blood to me.
(4) So what? That just means he's a clever politician.
(5) I don't seem him that way at all. I see him as arrogant. Mind you, I also don't think his personality is very germaine. The presidency is a job. You don't hire a brain surgeon because you like his jokes but for skill at brain surgery. The president needs to be good at being president, not necessarily a nice person.

Bush isn't a great president. never. He has achieved some issues maximum suitable, yet no longer lots. advantageous: a million. Going after the Taliban after 9/11. Afghanistan is now a reasonably loose united states of america. 2. helping Israel. Bush is probable the main professional-Israel president because of the fact that Nixon. 3. Tax cuts. I used my $3 hundred rebate to pay my lease. adverse: a million. NCLB is a large number. this is greater complicated than ever to grow to be a instructor. instructors ought to coach to checks, no longer teach for the sake of studying. this is underfunded to the factor that countless States are suing the feds to get their investment. 2. Iraq had no longer something to do with the 9/11 assaults, 15 of the nineteen hijackers have been from Saudi Arabia--it is who we ought to constantly have attacked. as properly, SA has greater oil than Iraq besides. 3. Tax cuts. i mandatory my $3 hundred rebate, bill Gates did no longer. 4. What has Bush achieved to regulate unlawful immigration? 5. Leaks. he's the president, for crying out loud. He needs to regulate his administration. 6. i'm getting bored together with his kissing as much as the Christian maximum suitable. we don't desire a Constitutional modification banning gay marriage. basically as quickly as in history has the form been amended to limit our rights, and that one became into repealed. 7. unlawful immigration. offering illegals amnesty and rapid-monitoring them to citizenship won't discourage unlawful immigration. 8. maximum heavily, the place is bin encumbered?

The only thing that I agree with is he has more morals than Clinton...the rest you will find out someday...
He visits the hospitals because the people he works with thinks it will make him look good...works, huh?...it is called PR.
The rest, he is actually doing more damamge to this country with every step he takes, every move he makes.
There is a book called Bushit. I don't have the author now, but it is in the politcal section of most major book stores. Be impartial, & with an open mind, read it. It will surprise you to see what he has done to hurt the lower classes, & the poor & women in particular...he is pushing his religious beliefs on the whole country. I don't agree with anyone pushing their religious views on me or anyone else.
I was extremely polite with this answer...even though I disagree with most of what you said up there. Just read the book, the fact are written down & the facts are followable & on record...just see what he has done to this country, bit by it...

First of all, it does not change my opinion of you; this is America and Americans are free and fit to believe what they want and it is accepting that which is what makes us free.
But I respectfully disagree:
1. Regardless of how the military was directed under President Bush, we have failed our main object; capturing Osama Bin Laden. By engaging in what has now been proven to be a largely unnecessary war (WMD's and Saddam's ties to Al Qaeda disproven) it has distracted us from our original objectives in Afghanistan.
2. The president has surrounded himself entirely with people who think like him and unconditionally agree with him. This has led to an air of "groupthink" in the White House that has failed to provide alternatives and rethinking our strategy on the failed war in Iraq.
3. Morals are a subjective thing; he is against abortion and stem cell research, yet has sent thousands of troops to die in an unnecessary war in Iraq without any plans for post-occupation. Also, comparing Bush to Clinton is like comparing Apples to Oranges; they are very different in many ways, perhaps Clinton's infidelity is just one of them (and one I should point out that in no way affects his job as president).
4. While it is true that Bush visits wounded soldiers and their families, I think that "regularly" is also a subjective term. Cindy Sheehan has visited wounded soldiers and she is considered to be a poison to American ideals in the war effort and to the Administration. Bush has also aired staged teleconferences with soldiers aimed at projecting him in a positive light.
5. Bush is the exact opposite of emotional and vulnerable. I would describe his as determined and stubborn; which are not necessarily bad qualities. Being vulnerable however would not be an appropriate way to describe his "stay the course" mentality nor his refusal to back down on any stance or ideal, regardless of evidence of the contrary.
