Vampirism is effectively a disorder by which the individual cannot recieve the energy they require from eating regular food alone. If you live with vampirism in an ethical and responsible way (not killing anyone if you are a bloodsuck, or only feeding if the 'victim' allows you to do so voluntarily -- or if you are a psychic vampire not 'sucking dry' any one... taking other steps to make the feeding effect the 'victim' as little as possible) then I don't see why not.

My advice would be to chat more with the girl above who answered that she already IS both. I'm sure the two of you would be a great support for each other, being, what I am sure is, a very small minority!

Blessings and Light as you blaze your spiritual trail!

Yes, but it would require you not to kill. And since a vampire is required to kill to stay alive, you would live a very short life as a Buddhist vampire. But the good karma you receive for making such a big sacrifice would surely make your next life easier. Of course you could live off the blood of animals that are going to be killed anyway. You could get a local butcher to sell you the blood of freshly killed animals and maybe live on that for a while.

LOL, talk about restricting one's lifestyle!

I suppose if one could be a vampire, one could also be a Buddhist, but they would either have to get a secure account at a blood-bank or be best friends to a haemophiliac!

Guess so, I don't know if Buddhism takes vampires in. Although I know for a fact that Christians and Catholics don't.

Yes, but a short lived one
as you could not kill for blood.
Then again, you could get a
supplier.
So, the answer is yes!

Yes. Like said earlier, you wouldn't live long. Since you're required to kill to live.

That is a cool idea. I don't know if it is possible, but I think all things are possible.
