I have a old cassette tape that has some really good dance tunes the only problem is that i don't know names of the songs or artists is there anyone who knows where i can type the songs words in and get told the names of the song or artists. thankyou all xx

go to www.letssingit.com and type in the lyrics,and then you will find a list of artists. Good luck x

A company called Shazam can help. Put your mobile near the tape deck and dial 2580 and leave it playing for about thirty seconds. It will text you back with the name and the artist (allegedly anyway). I don't know how much it costs but you could Google first and find out. As for lyric websites I don't know...

Yes. If you type a group of the words in (exclude articles like a, the, etc.) and type "lyrics" in a good search engine it sould take you right to the song . For example, if I type in "There's lady who's sure lyrics" I get:

Which, of course, is the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven":

These sites often contain links that can lead you to artist bios and discographies.

Go onto Google and type in 'song lyrics' . You should get a list of sites up that can I.D a song from first line lyrics.
I did this a while ago - worked fine!

I've typed some song lyrics into search engines and had the songs I was looking for pop up in the results. Try it. it should work for you. Good luck

Just type some of the lyrics into the Google search, and it will come of with 'lyric' websites and you can figure it out from there.

if all else fails dial 2580 and hold the phone to the song, it will automatically hang up an then txt u the name and artist of the song.
Bit expensive though!

Ya just go to: letssingit.com!!!! and type in the lyrics but make sure that in the box next to it you select lyric words.... or lyrics something of that sort.
