if someone needed a skin graft which part of the body would the donor skin usually be taken from?

Skin graphs are generally taken from the thigh.

It depends on the hair patterns, obviously hairy areas would not be suitable for facial transplants. So we often use the buttocks, or thighs but sometimes the abdomen.

the skin which will best match the recipient area will be chosen.the colour, texture and the nerve suplly matter. i have known scrotal skin to be taken for nipple- obviously in a male

Butt skin!

don't they usually use adjacent skin and flop it over so that the skin still remains as connected tissue...

i'm not a dr... but I usually just use Butt skin...
