well, my mother in law(a doctor of psychology) by the way is so freaking stupid that I don't even know where to start.....
Ok here's the dumbest thing I can think of right now, when my son was 15 months old, she was babysitting and cleaning her kitchen floor, I get there to pick him up, and he's sitting on the wet kitchen floor, playing with the bucket of dirty, chemical filled water from cleaning the floor, and he's putting his hands in his mouth and eyes, he was covered in the ****.....so, I freak out and start screaming that he is now covered in the floor cleaner and his eyes are all red....then she says, "oh gosh I wasn't thinking about that I guess".............UGH!!!! Another time she was letting my 2 year old play with her pill case, you know, one of those weekly planner things where you put pills for each day.....so he was shaking it around and stuff, she gets up and leaves him there playing with it, and goes to make a phone call, she comes back and 2 of her estrogen pills are gone, and a couple of vitamins.....DUH!!! She had to call poison control and everything...I just can't believe sometimes that she actually raised 2 kids of her own, and that they are both alive

Well my inlaws are insane so there's alot...once my mil gave my 8 yr old a can of mace to play with and even said to share it with his sister who was only 4 months old! (Thankfully my son is smarted than my mil!) They've stolen money from accounts, stolen things when helping us move and the thing that made my husband finally say enough was when he was in Iraq and she kept sending him emails about me and saying I was out cheating (which I most certainly was NOT doing!) She finally admitted that she just didn't want him married (at all to anyone) because she says no one could love him like she does! That definetly gave my husband the wake up call that he needed!

hummmmmmm I get along great with my now mother in law..
But my x mother inlaw was an idiot..she treated my son like he was just something "there" never even referred to him by his first name, always just called him "your son" or "her son" .. but "MY SON" lol.. ended up needing a liver transplant.. and we had fundraisers.. one of which we were doing at the local mall.. and she came up and was like " Oh thats my grandson" (something she never said before) and was going on and on about him, basically trying to make it about her ..so people would show her attention.. But what no one realized is out of all the money and donations we were raising, that women didnt give a dime for her "grandson"...

Easy hands down ... my husband's mother was never there for the death of her grandchild (her first grandchild) - she never reached out to us when Zachary died .. she did however to manage to send us a card in sympathy that she only signed her name, his estranged sister and their pets names as well.
Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brilliant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

My mother-in-law does not call or visit our daughter, but she is more than happy to take her new husband's children's kids on vacation and buy them all kinds of stuff. I don't understand it and it's not easy to explain to my daughter.
