Sure. It could be their only way of communicating with each other, or it could become so if they are together long enough.
It is very stressful for their children, so it would pay them to get some counseling on more effective methods of communication.
There's nothing wrong with having differences of opinion, but think of those around you and how they feel.

Sure, as long as they are little quarrels and not fights over fundamental elements of the relationship, they can act as pressure releases and help avoid big blow ups. Actaully, quarrels are probably the best thing for a relationship. It means you are communicating, which helps more than anything else in keeping a relationship strong.

god i hope so, quarrels and making up are all part of being a couple, but as you get older the quarrels get less, as you both learn the boundaries and accept that we are not all perfect

Depends on the content on the argument.
If you are having the type of fights where you attack the person and not the reason for the irritant, then you should split or get counseling.
Ex.
You are selfish B**ch: Not healthy
When you interrupt me to talk about your day: Healthy

Yes, have you never heard of happily married couples who are constantly arguing and nagging each other, but love each other deeply? I think in this case, it it the arguing and nagging, that is the glue that holds this type of relationship together.

I think so, because I lived through it my parents never fought or argued 3years later they were divorced. Both remarried. They argue with their new spouse and I've never seen them happier. If you don't let out your feeling your gonna end up hating or despising them.
