new to this house and animals so I don't know how many are too many

Goats cannot eat anything... they are ruminants and too much of anything can upset the balance in their digestive system. They also will not necessarily regulate themselves. Just watch your animals. Obviously you care about them or you would not be worrying about it. So you probably know their normal behavior. Are they scouring(diarrhea), are they off their other feed sources? Are their ears drooping?, (if they are not Nubians, then they will be already lol)If not you are probably fine, they will enjoy them very much. Im sure you will be fine as long as you are watching for changes in them.

Watch for changes in their behavior and physical changes. Sometimes they can get tummy aches (believe it or not Roses with stem and all can help with tummy aches in goats, it's like Peptobismal to them, however you spell it) or they get the runs. When they do take them off of it. Pick all the apples up and regulate how much they get.
Sometimes they don't eat stuff that is healthy for them or the amount. You know your animals so watch them and they will be fine. One thing to be careful of is pesticides as well. Since you are new to this house, you don't know what was used. Just be cautious.
And by green, did you mean the type of apple or they are not ripe yet? Too much 'green' fruit isn't too good for them. But if they ar ripe they should be okay, just remember all the above and make sure they are in good health.

Well the goats and sheep themselves will soon learn when enough is enough!
Apples arent poisonous, so there no real danger (other than an upset stomach form too many apples, but the animals will find this out for themselves)
Just leave them be

Your goats are not going to have a problems with constipation and are very good for cleaning your system and keeping you regulated

Goats can eat anything.
They might get upset stomachs, as eating too much of anything will do.
