Since the release of the news that nintendo has failed to resolve the copyright of their old school nintendo entertainment system.. does this indeed make all of the roms and emulation of the hardware now legal and lagit to download? I was surfing around and came across nintendo's legal section of their corperate website but i would figure to ask the people about this first befor resorting to calling their 1-800 number and talking with them directly.

It has nothing to do on wether or not they still make the games. If the they failed to get the copy rights that means that some one else can now produce the games albeit simliar or exact without fear of retribution fromt he parent company...

it should be legal since they dont sell them anymore.
