Bad things are not always caused by someone. Sometimes they just happen. And bad things don't necessarily happen to the one who caused it. Sometimes people who hurt other people just seem to live a charmed life.

One day I was driving down the road, and this guy cut me off. Because of that, he got through the traffic light before it changed to red, and I didn't. I sat there fuming for a few seconds, and then I started thinking. It seemed that nothing bad had happened to him, and there I was, still stuck at that light. But then I thought about what it would be like, being in such a hurry that driving like a moron was a way of life. I realized that he was suffering, after all, and that maybe I had gotten the better end of the deal.

So what you say is true, in a manner of speaking.

Karma. What comes around goes around. I'm sorry, I can't explain why, but I can give some pretty good examples. My daughter hit-and-ran a car, and a WEEK LATER someone hit & ran HER. Pretty bad, too, lo-o-ong scrape down side.. Another- my boss rips me off daily in a million tiny ways- he has three apartments that he just cannot rent to decent pp. After one family moved out the city actually CONDEMNED the property. He had to do lots of $$ repairs b4 he could rent out again. i dont know WHY Karma happens, I just know it does.

True. No bad deed goes unpunished because this would mean our existence is unjust. I believe the unverse is just.

Examples:

Exploitation of the Rain Forrest and other green zones = earth's inability to maintain homostasis with CO2 production and conversion of said CO2 into Oxygen by plant life.

Seeking control = loss of control through the rebellion of the object you are trying to control (people, nations, countries, etc.)

Trying to do good = always getting it wrong, you create more problems because it is your will that is trying to do the good instead of waiting for divine direction that can see all of the moving parts and the results of your action and as such can steer you towards doing something that truly is good because all of it's consequences are good; America giving aid, weapons, and training to other countries who in turn attack her with her weapons, funded by her money, and with her training

true and false consider the situation where you are owed bad karma, so someone wrongs you to even the karma out. they were merely the tool of karma repaying you back, so they should be owed no bad karma in return for doing karma a favor!!

If retribution is to take place, it'll take a long long time. Look at Osama, it's been 4 years since 9/11 & he's still out there somewhere.

How about those back-stabbing ***-kissing colleagues of yours? I bet they're still harming lots of other people...

if something bad happens to you and it is caused by someone, it is true that it will come to pass when their turn would come. it might not happen to them but it could happen to a family member or a member from another of their generation.
it could happen in a short time frame or it could take years.

One has to believe in karma, and many religions do not embrace that idea
