The question is not tongue in cheek.
I don't know that many gays, but the ones I do know (that I know are gay), are smarter than average, why?

In my life, I have known, or been around, literally thousands and thousands..(public figure at one time, in Gay industry) and when I think about it, not that many. A few were a little slow, but again, not that many. When I think about it, most have been sharp as tacks, great, fast sense of humor (intelligence marker), ... but it isn't so much a matter of intelligence as it is what you do with it, isn't it? I fear that all too often, Gays fall for the line of crap handed out by a generally homophobic world that they (we) are not quite "equal," and I think that far too many live down to their expectations. ONLY when we encourage success in our brothers, only when we encourage that success, will we truely have an advantage. When YOU hear disparaging remarks, STOP them in their tracks..dead cold! Tell those people who think stating anti gay remarks are funny THAT THEY ARE NOT! You will be amazed at how fast the jerks will fold...when they do NOT have bravery from company, they melt into the woodwork. Start today...only WE can stop this insideous attack on us. Good luck

I have know a couple of illiterate lesbian's. But I do not know if it was the way they were raised, as in they both dropped out of school to support their families, or if they were really unintelligent.
I always figured that it takes a little above average to stand up for who you are and what you believe is right.
It only takes sheep to go along with societies beliefs.

I met a guy in the gay bar before I discovered the g0y and he was dumb as dirt but had a thick 12 inch penis so that confirmed to me that God devides if he gives you some gifts he takes away others. LOL Poor Bill he was not much to talk to but I could look at him all day. And he was a great kisser.

Not personally, no. But keep in mind that gays are held to a standard, much like asians being good at math. You know they all aren't, but some are. It's just a stereotype.

Gays are people. Some are smart, some arn't.
Do you want proof that some gays arn't intelligent? Here it is: many have sex with out condoms. I met a bottom at a bath house that only wanted sex with top if there were no condom on. To me - that is the height of stupidity.

depends how you define intelligence...but yes, I have known some gay people who were not too intelligent..not being critical...they just fit on the same scale as for straight people.
