As a 'fetus', you have no rights, no thoughts, no rationalization...

Maybe I should throw this in...
The mother is just a couple of weeks (not months!) into the pregnancy and learns through routine examinations that the fetus is not "normal"....answer from there.

Question six and the answerer seems the most logical and intellectual as of yet. Knee-jerkish, ignorant pro-lifers needn't answer if they'll only resort to ad hominem attacks!

Ok, people...so far, some of you would keep the child because it is "innocent", etc., etc.
So it's better to give birth to a deformed fetus and be miserable, reviling it as years go by??? I don't think alot of you are being honest with yourselves...

I agree with you from a medical viewpoint, not an ethical one. Women often insist that they bear the child or twins in spite of facts and the family is doomed to grief and heartache. However if there is the possibility that co-joined twins might be separated, then it is a touchy matter. This is similar to patients with severe head trauma that are in a vegetative state...what is right? To have a family suffer for years when with our present knowledge, nothing can be done. I know that people cling to hope but somethings are really hopeless.

I assume (from the way you worded your question and the subsequent additions to it) that you don't have children. I can tell you, from my personal experience as a mother, that I would do nothing but love any child that I gave birth to--regardless of how many heads the child had, if she was missing an arm, had Downs Syndrome, or had any other "deformities." Something happens to a woman when she becomes a mother. I can't quite explain it, but we "change" (in a good way, of course). Everyone and everything else cease to exist, and everything we do is for the good of our child (in my case, my children).
I've never, fortunately, had a deformed child, but I would be un-selfish enough to carry this child to term, regardless of what "problems" the child had. I believe that everyone should have a right to life, no matter how short or painful the life may be. If the baby was meant to die because of her deformities, it would happen naturally--not by the hand of a doctor.

I would give birth to conjoined twins. They didnt ask to be born that way it was just something that happen. Most of the time conjoined twins can be seperated. As for any other deformed fetus. Yes I would because again its not their fault. If I had a deformed baby and it died shortly after birth then thats what is just in the cards.

wouldn't kill them after they were born because of there deformities would you? Neither would I. I once heard someone say, "Children are a burden on there parents until they are 18, so we should extend abortion rights up to age eighteen. And we should kill anyone with a handy cap just because no one wants to be handy cap. Finally, we should kill ANYONE who reminds us of the rapist who impregnated the victim, it doesn't matter if they are one of the most sincere, innocent people in the world, they are still causing emotional trauma to that poor girl." Thankfully, they were being sarcastic. So, my answer is no, I would never kill someone for being handycap whether they are born or not. AMEN

Yes, you sick callous bastard! Anyone who would kill thier own child should be slaughtered themselves. The worst criminals on the planet, and the most dangerous sociopathic female inmates have had multpile incidences of killing thier own children.
But to kill your own child, especially one that needs even extra special attention and love...
Yeah, you may want to do a little evaluation of what makes up your moral fabric. You may want to consider suicide before someone who thinks you are deformed kills you.
Pig.

Why not? What if you were deformed? And someone decided you shouldn't live? So they murdered you? Where would your rights as a human be?
