A full moon can alter many things. A persons sleep, mood, the ground we very walk on.

When working at the hospital, I saw many more people just before (like 2 days) and on the night of the full moon. Doctors would always attribute it to the whole "hoopla" of the the full moon but I sat and talked with people and asked them exactley what the felt and most of them said they would feel a feeling of unrest and uneasiness.

Full moons are what farmers used to plant by, I always plant my potatoes on Good Friday and then the corn on Mother's Day and if you look in the calendar the full moon is around that time. The gravitational pull of the moon to the earth is what helps things grow but it also causes unrest in people.

Not much your friend can do when the full moon hits other than sleep more during the day if its sleep deprivation is what he suffers from.

I don't have a clue, but I always sleep like a baby on a full moon, the only time I sleep better is when it's raining or during a thunderstorm. Does this mean I'm insane?

Anyone working in the nightclub industry &/or hospital knows that full moons do strange things to the way people act ~ crazy things happen. So why not sleep? The gravitational pull of the moon is responsible for tides, and our bodies are made up mostly of water...

Yes the moon effects most parts of the human life style and the planet as a whole. BUT I'd suggest tucking one away and only leaving one buttock exposed tonight see how it goes. And remember never full moon in the shower.

Yes because it is to do with the moon which affects water (eg tides) and the human brain and body contains a high percentage of water. Also I suppose the brightness of the moon may make a difference

Definitely, as my mom can't sleep at all when it's full moon out there. Guess what she's up to those times!

Absolutly, a full moon can affect a persons sleep, I mean, if your have someones smelly @rse up on the pillow next to you, sure it will affect your sleep, at the worst it will make you sleep with your mouth closed.......dont want any of them nasty fumes piling up in ur head overnight. roflol

Well it certainly affects my boyfriend! (Can't tell you what happened last night, there are minors present! :) )

It's more likely to affect canines (i.e. dogs and wolves) as their wild instincts seem to draw them to full moons. Even this explaination may be traditional, and support the tales of werewolves etc.

It seems a reasonable theroy....as the moon affects the tides (water) and our bodies are around 95% water.
