I woke up everyday this week. Any day above ground is good.

The best thing this week will come in 4 1/2 hours. That's when I start my vacation. Heading to the shore for a week, ocean front cottage. The sound of the waves, surf fishing, buggy boarding. Yep the best thing this week is just around the corner.

Yesterday. The whole day was absolutely perfect. My boyfriend and I got up , went for walk in the woods, popped into the pub then spent the whole sunny, Indian-summer afternoon reading the papers and drinking Pimms in the garden. We had homemade goats' cheese and tomato tart with freshly picked, home-grown beans for dinner before watching Dylan Moran and drinking champagne. Has anyone else had a better day ever???

Phone call from my boyfriend, who's in Afghanistan. After everything thats been happening over the past week it was the best feeling in the world to hear his voice yesterday!

Looked in the mirror and saw evil, hatred and bitterness staring back, it shook me up and I decided to turn the emotions round and do nothing but positive things instead. I'm on a roll at the moment!

Our vet telling us our dogs lymph nodes have gone down considerably since last week and it doesn't appear that she had lymphoma cancer after all and if she is just the same next Wednesday then it is a clean bill of health for her thank goodness.

Found a half eaten joghurt in the fridge that was only 5 weeks past its use-by date. Tasted fine.....although strangely I've been on the toilet all week!

The daycare notified me that my daughter's weekly fee was going down since she moved up a room! That's a $68 credit for October!
