To be fair, I have to ask the same thing to wives. I would start by saying this...

Husbands :) once in a while you should remember all those romantic things you used to do before marrying your wife.

Ladies, share your comments please :)

First, communication is the biggest and most important key to any relationship!!

If the man isn't paying enough attention to the wife or vice versa, then the other needs to come forward and directly say to them 'honey, i need more of your attention' and be specific about all areas!! this includes the bedroom!!!!!

Now the person may get upset at this but if they do its cuz they know they've been neglecting the other and feel badly about it.

You can also leave sticky notes around where your partner will see them, again be specific about what it is you want/need and shortly the partner will provide in their own way.

Be sure to show appreciation for the action no matter how small or large.

Just a quick note that i've learned, don't ever thank the partner after sex, this totally kills any emotional connection there may have been.

To keep his Wife happy (ive only been married 4 months) he should spend time with her.....men these days have the mentality that sex and affection are the same thing...and they can be but there's a time that comes from having sex to just plain sitting on the bed telling each other how much they love each other....encouraging is a form of affection too..

I belive that wat a man (husband) can do for his wife every once in a while is atleast take her out to eat in a romantic restaurant or have a romantic night in your bedroom with RED ROSES all over the floor and of course dont forget the RED ROSES on the bed formed into a big heart and int the bathtub in your bed room (If you have a bathroom in your room) with lots of bubbles and Red Roses in their to but right next to the bath tub two wine glasses with the most expensive bottle of champagne and some melted chocolate in a glass bowl and some fresh straberrys to dip in the chocolate... Thats wat I think would be so romanitc and dont forget the romantic music either .... Good Luck with trying to have him be romantic...Hope my advice helps.

I think it goes beyond what a husband did when dating. I think now that both in the couple have become "more" intimate since marriage that both of you "owe" it to your mate to take the intimacy up a notch or you'll wind up in a rut and barely having sex.

I've been living with my boyfriend for 18 years and we are unable to have sex due to religious beliefs and I am trying not to turn him on, but he finds a way to sneak into the bathroom while I'm showering or watching me apply lotion and powder before dressing and gets himself upset. But when we actually get married (waiting for divorce settlement), oh the things I know about him to send his rocket to the moon.

Comunication is very important and learning not to be selfish is very important also. Sometimes my husband doesn't realize that I can't spend $$ on things that I want, for example, buying things for the house or yard, etc because he wants to spend lots of $$ on a new guitar or something outrageous and compromising is the key!

The most important thing to me is that my husband listens to me. If I want to rave on and on about something, he listens actively and sympathizes even if he doesn't know what to say. Just having your man listen to you when you need to vent (and knowing that he's on your side) helps.

A husband should be a friend, companion and lover. All are equally important.

Its all about her love language, what needs to be done or said to make her feel special. My biggest one is words of affirmation,
-you look pretty today"
-Dinner was great
-I love you, and miss you
My second one is Acts of service.
-So doing things for me
- giving me his jacket when I say I'm cold
- picking up after the kids when I am cooking dinner.
I suggest you go to Google.com and search for Love Language Test, take it, figure out what your language is, and tell your significant other. Then you will feel truly loved. Don't forget to have them take the test too so that you will also be able to show them how much you love them.
