Mere changing the name will not change the account. The changes will be in the display part only. The account will remain the same. This can be changed only by the data administrator

Depends on your provider. All Internet providers have a help desk. Check the help option of your provider and seek help from them. This help is usually free with everyone except Net zero. They charge for help by the minute.

When sending an e-mail, there's an arrow up by your user name, click on it, and it gives you the option of which one you want to use.

When you brought up "My Account" and then changed your name.... did you click the SAVE button (or perhaps on your computer, the apply button) before you left "My Account"?

Its really hard to answer your question when you don't give us info related to what type of account you are using.

Is it yahoo ? Hotmail? G.mail ? .. or your local ISP ?

Do you use Outlook, Outlook Express, or webmail?
