I don't support either. Profit from a tragedy is despicable...whether they have a right or not, I don't support it.

My name is Sid and I am a hypocrite. I admit I have a problem, I do support Michael Moores right to the end as it pertains to free speech. I do not support or endorse this quasi- pseudo docudrama that is being played on ABC this Sunday. I am apparently full of lame crap, and I'm ok with that.
However I promise never to misspell the following: Context (not to be confused with contexted) License (ditto for liscense) guarenteed (I guarantee I won't misspell this one)
and "Freedom of Speach" because I believe in Freedom of Speech. ;)
Oh I apparently forgot, I want to tax the hell out of everyone so I can um, what improve health care? nooo... Schools?.... not sure.
oh right tax the hell out of everyone except the top1% then Imy administration will give those guys all of the tax breaks in the world so they can go fix everything that I broke! And still my minions think that I am not a tax and spend kind of guy. It's like the play Evita "and the Money keeps rolling in..." listen to it sometime.

Wow. Wish I'd seen this MUCH earlier. Anyway...
Answer:
The same number of us "hypocrites" that know that Freedom of Speech, as guaranteed in the First Amendment, only concerns the GOVERNMENT not being allowed to unreasonably (remember, no yelling "fire" in a theater.) restrict your speech? Ya think? Maybe?
Source? The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Why do the unintelligent (aka: republicans) of America keep embarrassing themselves on this? And also... it's VICE versa.

Wow - everyone is really upset about this ABC drama and personally I am a democrat and not upset with ABC at all. They have every right to air the shows they want. I often watch and listen to opposing ideas to hear what the conservatives have to say. But I don't take everything I hear as truth. I do my own research talk to people on both sides and then make an educated decision about what to believe. Maybe the Democrats trying to stop ABC think the same as the Republicans that stopped Fahrenheit 911 from being shown on PBS. The American public believes everything they hear from the media. Become informed, use your brain, and maybe we could put an end to a media run politics.

I think that the propaganda piece, "Path to 9/11" should be shown in it's entirety AFTER the November elections. It is obvious that this cheesy manipulated pile of crap was created and funded by the the right-wing to sway the electorate (not all that sophisticated to begin with) to vote for candidates who support the Bush regime's rape of America. That ABC would participate in such a sham seems to indicate that they have either been intimidated or infiltrated by the fascist elements trying to totally control America for their own benefit.

human beings have diverse evaluations approximately Michael Moore. as an occasion, i think of he's sensible, has an incredible humorousness, and is an extraordinary action picture maker. Even you may desire to confess that "Sicko" became a masterpiece, proper? on the different hand, i think of Ronald Reagan became a jerk, and Sarah Palin is a humiliation. perhaps you disagree, yet it relatively is okay. it extremely is suggested as variety!

I'm pretty liberal and I support just about ANY freedom of speech.
Typical social progressive I am.
Even if the movie is biased to the Right,I DONT CARE.It it will eventually all come out in the end anyway.
Nice job getting the right-wing pavloving dogs salivating that "liberal hate freedom of speech for others",and other crap created in Karl Rove's laboratory than becomes embarrassing when foreigners ask me if I'm a conservative pig too.

I'm not either a Republican or a Democrat, but I think you have a good point.
The only caveat I think exists here is that farenheit may have been high on opinion and stuff but it had actual footage, documents and quotes, even if they were taken out of context. The argument against this show is that there are made up scenes. Some Republicans have agreed with this, I believe.

I don't support or contest EITHER of them. If your opinion can be swayed by heavily skewed "edutainment" your party doesn't really need you anyway!
How about taking a moment to examine your core values rather than relying on the idiot box and Hollywood to tell you how to feel?
How many of you hypocrites preach the sanctity of life in the case of abortion but wouldn't think twice about frying a murderer on the electric chair? (Aren't loaded questions fun?!)

Where are all the loudest and obnoxious liberal YA'ers??
The silence is deafening when liberals are presented with facts!
Talk about double standards! I heard that the movie doesn't portray the Bush administration in a positive light either BUT yet you don't hear the Bush camp whining and complaining like the dems.
Why are the dems attacking free speech? What they are doing violates the 1st amendment and taking the Patriot Act one step further. The dems are trying to take us to a police state where everybody has to agree with them and they want to tax the hell out of productive Americans to fund all their socialistic desires.
