That depends on what you like. Let's say you like the beach, on the East Coast, the Atlantic gets warmer during the summer but you have year-round beach days in Southern California and better waves for surfing. Maybe you like live theater and opera, well New York is the place, if you are into movies, L.A. Generally the East Coast is less expensive to live, but even that isn't true in all areas. So bottom line - the best place to live is the place that is going to make YOU happiest - friends, family, activities, climate, etc.

I prefer the west coast of Florida... warm beautiful gulf beaches,soft powdery sugar sand, not far from the tourist attractions, a short drive to the beautiful Florida springs, great scuba diving, spear fishing, sport fishing, bird watching, free concerts in the parks, and lets not forget the warm mild winters, with winter activities a car ride away.... just a great place to be. Think about it, people save all year to come here and visit for a week, and I live here!

Well I've never been to the west coast. I've been to Florida a lot and I love it there. The weather is great when there isn't hurricanes and the people have always been friendly.

East Coast in the Maryland area. Great scenery and the best seafood anywhere. Just avoid Baltimore and its all gravy.

East Coast....Live in one of the coastal cities in NC, NY or VA. Really beautiful views.
