"the anthrax attacks were most likely domestic (i.e. white) troublemakers. islamic, al quaeda, mass destruction attacks are what he's referring to. "

How do you know this? We never found out who sent them, or why. At the time, Bush constantly referred to them as another attack by terrorists. Now we dont hear anything about them.

Shoe bomber didn't get the bomb through. Other attacks have been thwarted. Did another answer actually tell us to check out a music video? Seriously, that is what is wrong with this country. Next you'll want us all to watch Farenheit 9/11 and pretend it is factual. Wake up people, we need fresh politicians and a brand new political party that follows the will of the people.

Lex Luthor had him subdued with Kryptonite so he wasn't waiting to renounce the planes in time. human beings are not out to "defend" each individual's image. The united states has substitute into an increasing variety of polarized over the final 15 years or with the point to the factor that human beings take disagreements in politics as own assaults and launch vitriol at each individual who disagrees with them. in point of fact that the terrorists exploited a weak point and that they did so nicely. Any counsel the government had grew to become into too obscure or unreliable to be actionable(thinking the sheer quantity of threats against the country and its voters overseas, appearing on each possibility is basically no longer feasable). consequently, till the terrorists, already aboard the plane, started actual enacting their plan, there grew to become into no longer something that must be finished. they did no longer wreck any regulations in boarding the plane with the boxcutters. They weren't on any watch lists. till they started the violence, no person had a competent reason to flow on them. 0.5 the country seems to trust distinctive the strikes Bush made interior the time on condition that. The PATRIOT Act may well be unpopular in some circles yet in others this is considered as a necesarry evil at worst and a pragmatic gizmo interior the combat on kin terror at appropriate. the subject in all this is that numerous human beings are incapable of stepping exterior of their own perspectives and seeing the place human beings's evaluations come from. Assuming that somebody in power had to be incorrect given which you disagree with them is rather egotistical and illogical. Believing that they did no longer sense they had good justification for his or her movements is basically silly. The trick is making an attempt to be certain what that justification of their eyes is. no longer each thing you disagree with is an evil conspiracy. often times this is in order that user-friendly as a distinction in opinion.

It isn't that we haven't been attacked, there has not been a SUCCESSFUL attack. I'm not pro Bush he does and says things that really tick me off, but he is making sure that we are protected on American soil. I say he is doing a much better job than say Clinton did. During the Clinton administration we were attacked almost yearly. If not more often and NOTHING was done. If it had not been for Clinton's laziness where security is concerned we wouldn't be in this mess now.

Hes too stupid to think, he paid his way through elementry, middle, high school. and college, if not he would be stuck in the first grade!

He was never elected either time. He LOST the popular vote TWICE!

He has to make it look like he's keeping the country safe, so people will continue to vote for Republicans. Keep the terror threat ratcheted up, so they're afraid, but remind them that only Big Brother can keep them safe.
