No matter the outcome, this is going to be a great game. I hope Ohio State continues to take on big teams early on in the season; it makes for exciting football all season long. Last year, the Texas coaches were reluctant to take on the challenge and would have rather coasted through the early part of the season on an easier schedule.

In any case, I think a Buckeye win would be fitting this year on the Texas home turf. I am willing to guess a win by two touchdowns, but more likely a touchdown and a field goal.

And whoever mentioned Maurice Clarett as a way to shutup a Buckeye fan is crazy. Methinks a fan that knows anything about the past few years would completely agree that he has been a tool. If the city of Columbus could vote on a proposition to kick him out of the state, we would.

Steven H, very last time i checked its OSU. I say this Ohio State 25, USC 10, you Buckeye haters are going to be very much shocked, yet were taking area in the INT throwing king, Barkley. Turnovers harm USC, and Ohio State cashes in on them, and the protection for Ohio State improves with 2 INTs and a million fumble fix.

Texas by 2 touchdowns.

They couldn't handle Texas last year in Columbus, they don't even sniff them in Austin.
Colt McCoy proved last week that he can hang on to the football well enough to allow the running game and the defense to win games.
Ohio State proved last week that their defense can't stop the running game, even against Northern Illinois.
It's still summertime in Austin. Jamaal Charles runs all over the Buckeye defense and Troy Smith melts in the heat.

I-35 North should be pretty empty at halftime so the Buckeye fans shouldn't hit much traffic getting an early start out of my state.

Hook'em !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how about no the Longwhores are not going to beat the Buckeyes last year was a fluke so get real 35-21 Buckeyes on top, hey why do you people still bring Maurice Clarett's name up like his still playing for Ohio State, cause the last time I checked his not even playing the game

GET REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohio State will win by 10 points ( I have been saying this for weeks), last Saturday should have shown the entire nation this. Touchdown passes on first three drives, with little effort. On the first play of the second quarter they (OSU) scored their fourth touchdown. They (OSU) then started running the ball and pulling starters out of the game.

Northern Illinois may be a Mac team, but they have a good team. They will completely dominate the Mac, especially with the high caliber running back that they have. Unlike that team from "Northern where?" that the Limphorns played.

I'm thinking you've got the wording wrong in your question...it should read 'how bad is Ohio State gonna beat them Longhorns.

FYI....Maurice Clarett has become the laughing stock of football...we really don't lay claim to him anymore seeing's how he only played one season with the team...but shall we mention that a Texas player was arrested over the weekend...what was that for? Possession of marijuana and I think even an additional firearms charge?

Texas will lead this game from start to finish. Final score will probably be along the lines of 38-14.
