Whenever your child indicates that he is hungry. You can't nurse too often. Probably around every 2-3 hours or so. (Breastmilk digests in about 90 mins and baby's tummy is only the size of his fist!) Maybe one or two slightly longer stretches without nursing each day at this age.
The link below may be helpful to you.
EDTIED TO ADD:
DO NOT give an infant this young water!
Breastmilk is mostly water. It is the ONLY thing a 2 mos old needs!

Every 2-4 hours is common but you should nurse whenever your baby demands it. Breast milk is much more easily digested than formula so breastfed babies tend to need fed more often. Just follow your baby's cues, he/she will let you know when they are hungry. At this young age, you shouldn't try to limit your baby or put him/her on a schedule (i.e. every 4 hours, etc...). Sometimes nursing can be a hassle but it's worth it! Just keep feeding your baby whenever they seem hungry. It may seem like you do nothing but nurse, but as your baby gets older s/he will eat less often. Hang in there, and good for you for giving your baby such a great start at life! :-)

I agree as often as the baby needs. If you are concerned if the baby is getting enough just know that sometimes my son would feed every 1 1/2 hours and sometimes he would nurse every 4-6. It just depends on their need that day. If you feel you are not producing enough still, contact your doctor. Good luck.

Probably every 3/4 hours, but whenever they want it. Got a lot of growing to do and once you figure out yourself when their having a 'feed' and just a snack you will then be able to determine exactly how much time you have got between feeds. Just trial and error at this stage, but you'll both get into a routine soon enough. Good luck with it.

My daughter is largely 6 months, yet as well sleeps with us and that i'm breastfeeding. in part they scent the milk, yet I nevertheless imagine it helps to shush them and rub their abdomen slightly and verify out to get them to bypass back to sleep with out milk. at the starting up, every time my daughter woke i might want to feed her. yet i realized that she did not inevitably want that and typically my husband or i might want to shush her back to sleep. So, convinced, we nevertheless feed frequently 2 circumstances a nighttime now - yet it is down from 4 or 5 circumstances! it would want to be properly worth a try...try for 30 2d or a minute before giving in, and the more desirable she receives used to no longer desiring milk to bypass back to sleep, the better it will be. She also now seems to awaken a touch and bypass back to sleep on her own now more desirable than she used to...our nighttime feeds are nevertheless there, yet even as i began to understand each little waking did not require a feeding, that helped us all :)

listen to cues from the baby, breast fed babies require more frequent feedings than those on formula. When bottle feeding, you have the advantage of knowing how much they have eaten, there is no way to know when breast feeding, so when the baby cries let him/her latch on, if they are not hungry.....they won't take it....

I breastfeed my two children. They generally nursed every 2 hrs, but trust me your baby will let you know when he/she is hungry.
