Scottish gas have just increased my monthly payment to £97 a month. I have an old central heating system and my hob is gas. I work full time so there is no one at home during the day. Also the weather over the last 2 months has hardly been Siberia. Is this a normal monthly payment. Any ideas thanks

I have a three bedroom house and I am with Powergen. I pay £91 per month for my gas and electricity combined. That way I save myself neary £285per year. I think what I am paying is reasonable and I dont know of anywhere else much cheaper than that. I shopped around but to be honest Im better off staying where I am.

I pay £12 per month for gas cooker, hot water & central heating. You might have a gas leak?

£97 a month!!!

Yes, unless you are running a hotel.

I pay about £10 a month and use gas for cooking and heating (in winter).
