Depends where you grew-up. Most people like places that feel familiar to them. In general, Europe has a more laid back lifestyle (long vacations, France with their 35 work week, etc), but in the US people make more money, have bigger houses and more toys.

i live in London, England and if you have tons of money then it is the best city to live in. Sadly i do not therefore it is still a great city but not really great to live in. Property prices are rising rapidly, you have to pay money to drive anywhere, gas costs a fortune, the people can be rude and never tell you what they really think and the service is pretty crap. the bar/club scene is top notch if you know the right people but if you do not it can cost £200 for a good night out downtown. The US is so big that there is too much difference between the big urban areas and right out in the country. Now Dubai is an amazing place to live, i lived there for 18 months and loved every second of it. Canada is probably the best place to live as the last time i looked at standard of living, Canada was at number 1. Europe has so much more culture so if that was important to you, then Europe is well ahead of North America. It all depends on what each person wants but having money can make anywhere much better.

So if anyone wants to donate money to improve my standard of living please send me an email.

Thanks,

McFly

US - motives: more desirable proper operating circumstances/rules that preserve workers you may evaluate operating in Europe once you've friends and kin there (a community of help) so as that it would not value a lot - that's severe priced Canada - will pay small wages compared to the U. S. and each thing is paid with the help of their device - even Walmart the speed of change for Canada and Europe - you need to study that, in spite of the reality that the Euro is reliable today Europe isn't precisely pleasant to US voters yet when you're from any the position else, you're ok. the U. S. has continuously had a powerful artwork stress and could stay a artwork stress chief contained in the international. the U. S. would not tax you into submission. ;)

Going to go with the US on this one, personal experiences say that it is. I have been to Europe and love it from portugal all the way to the Balkans, its a great place. The culture is completly different and its a fun time their work year is shorter than it is here, and they have a lot more places to party. I was raised here in the US and this is where my friends and family are at, I wouldnt be able to watch the sports I love when I wanted, and in most instances I would give up some of the rights that I have here in the US. So I give the nod to the US. Europe is a great place to visit though.

I think that neither one is any better than the other. I have lived in both places, as well as in the Middle East and Asia. I love living in Europe AND the USA...they both have wonderful things about them as well as some things that aren't so wonderful. The best part is that they are each great in their own way.

I am from England and have travelled all over Europe. I met my American husband in Germany and moved to the US. I love it here...people are so much more friendlier. We in Europe tend to be a little reserved and may appear arrogant and unfriendly.

My answer....definitely USA...love it!
