Hope this isn't too late for you...I would take the Tappan Zee Bridge, then up 287 to 684 to 84 (that's from memory, so the routes might not be right). Definitely go 84 through CT - you'll get somem traffic through Waterbury and Hartford, but it's nothing compared to NYC. Once on the Pike take 495 north (exit 11A) up to 95.

Go upstate. You will avoid a ton of traffic. You will hit traffic in Waterbury, CT and maybe Hartford, depending when you leave. Remember, the Red Sox are at home, and there a few other events going on, so there will be some traffic outside of Boston. But it should not be all that bad. At the tolls in New Hampshire and Maine as well, unless you know how to avoid them.

From 8pm to 4am may well be the terrific time. in case you should pass mid day - make it between 10am and 2pm. sidestep rush hour in any respect expenses. hear to 880am or 1010 for site visitors comments each 10 minutes. you do no longer opt to be there in any respect on a Sunday night or a Friday night. check out a map and hint this direction. George washington bridge, to hudson freeway north, to sawmill freeway, to pass county park thank you to hutchinson park thank you to Merrit freeway. Merrit freeway will become the willber pass which later merges with ninety one. it ought to or won't be better than ninety 5 - that easily relies upon on the site visitors concern at any given time. hear to the site visitors channels and decide which direction has the least site visitors issues - the two ninety 5 or the way above. Then take the better option. in my opinion, I desire going ninety 5 to ninety one- yet whilst it is all subsidized up i will take any incorrect way.
