I am on a strick diet and exercising to loose 40 pounds. I have been overweight with a belly and BIG MAN BOOBS for 30 years. I know my skin is streched out big time from all of my streach marks. I would like to know the best exercises to help me flatten my stomach BUT I really want to loose my MAN BOOBS. I am turning 50 and have been doing 150 sit-ups a day and lifting weights every other day and ride a bike for 30-40 minutes a day. PLEASE someone let me know the best way to get faster results on flatting my stomach and to loose my MAN BOOBS!
I have been dieting for 4 weeks now and have lost 22 pounds, stopped smoking and exercising. I am so motivated because I have meet a special person in my life for the first time and I am totally embarassed by my body fat. I am not good at goind to a gym at all. I have a dear friend that is helping me out. I also do not eat anything after 6PM. SOmeone PLEASE help me out.

well done so far you have a great rountine that if you keep it up will sure to gain the results you need. sit-up and crunches anre great for the abdominal muscle but if you hate the gym try faradic pads, you can buy them for home use or go for treatments at a salon.

you place the pads on areas you wish to tone up like abdominals. you must place the pads correctly thou otherwise the treatments is not effective.

the intensity is designed to contract and relax the muscle the same kinda work out when you go the gym. use them at least once a day for 30 minutes you can increase timings as you go along. results will happen if you maintain the lifestyle you currently have.

Hi Rich,

One of the best exercises you can do to help flatten your stomach is inverted situps. Those are situps done on a slanted (head downward board), or without any supporting surface under your back (like putting your butt on a weight bench but leaving your back off the edge, or sitting on an exercise ball). If done properly, you will be using the muscles of your abs throughout the entire exercise, instead of resting on the floor between crunches. This really engages your core and works your abs.

As for the man boobs... do exercises that work your pecs (the muscles under your boobs). Pushups are great! Bulking them up will tighten the skin, put tension against the fat and flatten it, and generally make your boobs seem less boobish.

As for your new love interest... if you haven't been binding your chest before a date, she already has a good idea of what you'll look like naked (except for certain parts ;o) Believe it or not, women are just as capable as men of undressing someone with their eyes, but a lot less likely to use that as their reason for wanting to date. If she's gone out with you more than a few times she's probably seeing something in you that makes physical perfection less than important. Keep up the personality traits she's finding so attractive, enjoy and appreciate her for liking you for who you are, the way you are, and keep working on your health, so you'll have plenty of years to spend with this person who likes you for you!

women have natural rounded tummy, i find it sexy. but some women do have fatter tummy, put something heavy on your legs, =( couple thick phone books ) and do 50 sit ups, 10 first 3 days, 20 for 3 days, until you are comfortable doing 50 maybe 25 in morning same in evening. another exercise is. tense your tummy muscles and with closed fists, gently beat your tummy like a drum

Sorry to say there might not be any hope for you other than surgery.

It's hard to say with out seeing how big your jugs are. You just might be a little self consious about your body and the person wouldn't even care about them. Or you might be putting Pamela Anderson to shame.

Congrats on the weight loss & finding that new special person too.

It depends upon how old you are. Skin loses the ability to shrink (elasticity) as you lose weight when you get older. Try drinking skim milk which is supposed to help tightening the skin.

Sometimes the only way to get rid of this stuff after losing weight is to have surgery to remove it.
