The only cartoons I like are the simpsons and family guy.

It is a harmless way of stress release through humour. I like to watch South Park and through the cathardic effect I can harmlessly release negative emotions, which would be unacceptable in real life or at work. Cartoons which depict unaccepatble violence or illegal moral corruption should not be watched and definantly NEVER be shown when children are present, as there is a copy cat effect and at certain ages they can not tell the difference between cartoons and reality and this may damage their developing social mind set or attitudes.

uh,... if you're an adult,... do you watch adult cartoons like Hentai anime?
Well the only adult cartoons I've seen made in the US are Looney Tunes, they were originally made for an adult audience.
Hum... I like watching Spies coz the girls are cute, but seriously, I hardly have time to watch them anymore, you know some of us have to work at a job to pay the bills.

Although Graphic Novels are considered first rate literature in certain literary circles. I do enjoy reading a good Graphic Novel.

Everyone has their choice in television shows. If you like cartoons so what. A lot of people watch porn whole day...anyone complaining? It's not about real people or not because a cartoon can carry a message just as effectively as a normal show. That's just your choice

If I watch a cartoon I tend to notice that there are jokes in them that only adults will understand. Its like seeing them for the first time, all over again. I usually don't watch, but if I do I like to watch the ones that are classics, or modern classics like "Sponge Bob" which can be pretty hilarious.

Because in cartoons they can do things that normal shows can't without special effects. Homer Simpson would be dead by now from a tragic stunt accident.

For me, Animation is a very respectable art form, and as a visual artist, I look at them for inspiration and in admiration.
There are many types of cartoons, and all are enjoyable for many reasons, humor, fantasy, adventure, etc.

Because you can do things with cartoons that you can't do in real life... like pull a giant hammer out of thin air or a giant stick of dynamite....

because they do stupid and wierd things... not to mention the funny thing about cartoons... you know. doing the exact opposite! you'll never know what they'll do next! unlike shows that has real people, you can already predict the next thing that'll happen. it's never boring watching cartoons.

well...I don't watch news, evening shows, dramas or whatever, but I do watch cartoons and love them. I don't think there is an age limit ;) don't worry u're not sick. I'd watch them even if I were old (of course then everyone wouldn't wonder why I do that...they would all just consider me mad. but I wouldn't mind)
