(Old lady being facetious only). Actually, I'm looking forward to the Christian concept of Armageddon. And, I've been keeping my eye out for the anti-Christ. I'd like to be on his speech writing team. Seriously, though, doomsday beliefs hail from feeble, fearful minds that cannot grasp or cope with change. But, with all of the massive cultural changes occurring (you're too young to remember, but, our societies did not used to change this fast. Many of us from previous generations envy yours very much, in how intelligently you learn the new technologies, how sturdy you are about expressing your opinions, how aware you are so much earlier than we were.), many people are actually suffering from all the changes. It's so frightening to be old when we know we aren't competent enough to even know how to cut and paste, when we know there isn't going to be the social security money for us that we paid into for fifty years, when we know our own youngsters may not care about what happens to us. Many people are deeply, pathetically scared.

There have been rumors about the World ending for as far back as people could talk about it-!! Every so often that comes up, and - to my knowledge - it hasn't happened yet! (LOL) The most recent time that I remember was for the date - June 6, 2006, since it was written as: 6/6/06 which could be interpreted as the Biblical '666.' No one seemed to think that 1906, 1806, 1706 etc. all had June 6ths in them, which could have also been written as: 6/6/06 - !!

Rumours are seldom true.......they are created by people with no friends and who have too much time on their hands... I am sure the media would pick up on it.........

Well Sept 11th is Monday...............so y'all have a good weekend folks, according to some it might be our last!
