Yes, of course. When you call someone a hypocrite, it is because you recognise it. We're all hypocrites. And people put most severe blame on bahaviour they recognise in themselves, but scares them. Murder for example is something we all know we're capable of, so when someone commits murder we get shocked and feel a need to punish very hard indeed. Well, there are others reasons for that too, I'm sure. I am not too shocked with hypocrisy, but I am a hypocrite about it. And I'm a pedantic mtf also, elaborating on stuff you already know. Apart from being a pedantic hypocrite though, I'm also apologising.
