"Ask them to wait 10 years before they kill us? When good negotiates with evil, evil always wins...Peace follows victory, not words issued by diplomats."

Do you agree that some or all of this is true? Are there any assumptions you question?

battle-ax: Yes it does makes sense, but question Rush's assumption that their "starting point is our death" This may be true for UBL, KSM, but most have political aims, like Palestinian state, US to leave Iraq, perceived need for nuclear weapons for defense...

You need to stop believing all the propaganda you are fed. The media is largely controlled by the government and its sponsors. The so called 'war on terror' is designed to frighten you into the arms of your own war mongering government.

The result is that you now believe its 'kill or be killed' and to ‘save yourself and your country vote for Bush’.

Stop believing the b.s.. Stop supporting the unsupportable - Try and understand the underlying issues by researching outside the mainstream media and questioning everything before you accept it. If you understand the truth and support just solutions we'll have a chance for world peace.

Rush Limbaugh is notoriously ill-informed. That is one reason he refuses to have guests, appear on programs where he'll have to face unscripted questions, or engage in any debates. Every time he's tried, he's been handed his head on a plate.

The assumption he's going from here is that every single leader or person opposed to the US wants us dead and nothing will stop them until they've been killed. Well, that is not accurate. It is a wildly (and typically) inaccurate idea.

well peace does follow victory. How do you negotiate with people who only have a desire to kill you, and not negotiate in the first place,...I'd say yeah that sounds about right. I'm not sure about the ten years part though. They wouldn't keep you alive for ten years.

Kutekymee- youre right, they dont ALWAYS want us dead. Its a three way tie between wanting us Dead, Enslaved (dhimmi's) or Praying to the East. Its not something they are born with, its something they are indoctrinated with radical Islam.

Rush is 100 % dead on. It says right in the Koran that non-Muslims must be be converted or eliminated. Eliminated means kill them.

The funny thing is, I watched this last night and cannot remember one word. Maybe I am guilty of selective hearing. Hmmm.

However to answer the question, maybe negotiation isn't the key, maybe it's lack of instigation.

Rush makes the mistake of assuming that they will always want us dead, have always wanted us dead, and can never change. You have to go one step further than that, and ask "why do they want us dead?" Its not something they were born with. Its not an irrational "must kill all Americans forever" brainwashing.

All you need to know is that they have zero tolerance for Christians over there. It bothers me that we have to be tolerant of those that wish us harm.
