25 buck's. Any more than that ,the record company's are taking. And most of those band's will be playing locally for 10 buck's in a couple of years, with thee exception of a few classic rockers like the stones.

Depends on the concert. I have paid $150-$200 for U2 tickets but I wouldn't pay $1 to see Nickelback

Depends on the artist/s. I paid $7.50 to see AC/DC in 1980, damn good show but due to inflation, I paid $100 a ticket to see Aerosmith/kiss two years ago and again $100 for Aerosmith/ Motley Crue last night. I wouldn't do it again but you have two big name acts that have quite a few people working for them that they have to pay. I paid $80 to see Queen/Paul Rodgers this year. I think the $40 I paid for Trans-Siberian Orchestra was a much better deal. They had over fourteen musicians on stage and the show was beyond fantastic with the lasers and everything else. It also was over 2 and a half hours long. Definitely the best show I've seen yet!

Anybody who pays over $100 to see any individual performer (one group) of their choice (their favorite) is just fueling their (the artist's) egos of how much they can charge. As long as people pay for the tickets, the prices will continue to go higher because they are willing to pay. Stop paying the prices and the artists will have to cut their profits!

Take a look at some of the highest grossing performances and then check out how much they charged for tickets and tell me it isn't highway robbery. And tell me how much we are the fools for paying to see them!

My uncle is taking me to see Boy from Oz with Hugh Jackman in Sydney along with some other members of my family. he paid $279, I would not have paid it because I've seen it already (It is worth it though!). The best seats are $500 (for this you get eye contact with Hugh!). He would not pay this. Its a matter of what you can afford or how much you like the artist. I know people who flew to New York to see it - how much did they pay? air fare from Sydney is not cheap!

I'd say $100 is pushing it; think about what you can buy for $100 as opposed to about 2 hours at a concert... never worth it.

$75 max. I paid that to see Elton John/Billy Joel and Tony Bennett. I just paid $37 to see Roger Waters tomorrow.

I don't think I'd ever pay over $100.00.
