I absolutely love The Beatles, as you know, Moon. Me dad being from Liverpool, I was inundated with Beatles music from an early age and never strayed far from that strong influence. There has never been nor will there ever be such an influential band and cultural phenomenon as those famous Fab Four Lads from Liverpool.

Now to address your specific question, two songs spring immediately to mind (though I feel sure there are many others which hold significant meaning for me in my life). I shall therefore isolate these two and attempt to explain what they mean to me.

'The Long and Winding Road' is a very beautiful song with deeply personal meaning for me. Listening to the lyrics -- and applying them to a specific relationship in my life -- has moved me to tears more than once. It is a sad but sweet song, beautifully composed, and I always pause in whatever I am doing when I hear it. I adore that song.

'Let it Be' is another very powerful Beatles song with attached significance for me. It was played at the funeral for a friend when I was just a school boy (he wasn't much older than I was) which would seem to give it a sad connotation. However, even at that tender age, I was struck by the beauty of the tune and the uplifting message in the lyrics. I therefore do not consider it to be a sad song at all, notwithstanding some associated memories.

Thank you for the question, mon ami. I am so glad you have reason to rejoice this weekend and I hope things only continue to get better and better for you and your family. :)

All You Need is Love.

Long story which I could make short, but I'll post neither version due to my Blogger Manifesto on Yahoo 360.

Yesterday, because my son had cancer some years ago.I didn't worry because I knew GOD would take care of him. I had a newborn at the time of his diagnosis, therefore, it was sort of hard to take him 200 miles round trip for treatment. (I asked the surgeon to refer me to the best pediatric oncologist) But "all of my troubles seemed so far away". He is now cancer free and I still believe in "Yesterday". Good things sometimes come from pain!
